Finding the seeds you want

You have two options:  You can search our seed database or browse our PDF seed list.  Our list is in alphabetical order of botanical name and you may click on the product code numbers to go directly to the corresponding product pages.  To search our database, type your query into the search box in the top right corner of every page (or in the centre of the home page). When ready, hit enter or click the mouse on the magnifying glass image. You will then see a list of all the seeds that match your search criteria.

You can enter any of the following information into the search box:

• Scientific or Botanical name (enter all or part of the name)
• Common name (enter all or part of the name)
• Genus
• Species
• Product Code (useful if you have bought the seed before and know what the product code is)

Ordering the search results

• You can choose to arrange the results in alphabetical order by Genus, Species, Common Name or Type.  (NB. Type data is incomplete)
• Then, once you have found the one you want, click on it to view more information.  This page is called a product page.
• Product pages may contain a lot of information or very little.  Besides naming and pricing information, we hope to have pictures, seed counts, recommended seed pre-treatments, and any other relevant info added over time.

Adding seed to your “Seed Basket”

• From the product page, you need to choose the quantity you want, making sure the amount conforms to our pricing structure.  Click the “Calculate price” button and if you are happy with the quantity and price, click on the “Add Seeds to Seed Basket” button.
• The “Seed Basket” link in the top right corner will update to show how many different types of seeds are in your list.  (You can click on the “Seed Basket” link at any time to view your basket contents.)
• You can now either return to your previous search results, start a new search, or return to browsing the seed list.

Placing Your Order

• After you’ve placed all the seeds you want into your basket, click the “Seed Basket” link at the top right of the page.
• You will be taken to a screen that shows the items in your seed list. Review the list and make any necessary changes.
• When you’re ready, click the “Order Seeds” button.
• Enter the relevant information in all the mandatory boxes marked with a red asterisk.  Comments aren’t mandatory, but may be useful to provide extra information to our consultants.
• When you have entered your details, click “Place Order”.
• Your order request will be emailed to arid landscapes and one of our consultants will contact you within the next two working days to confirm or discuss your order.
